The key aim behind this framework is to have the surplus office furniture and equipment removed from our offices in such a way that they have a sustainable and ethical future, ideally in the communities and charities local to the office from which they have been removed. We are looking to appoint a supplier who can assist us in this through uplifting the items and sourcing an end destination for them whilst paying due heed to the Scottish Enterprise Waste Hierarchy and Zero Carbon aims. Where possible Scottish Enterprise would aim to minimise carbon emissions associated with travel and transportation of items and welcomes bids from suppliers who can demonstrate this
Renewal: The framework is to be for an initial 24 months duration with the option to extend for a further 12 months if required.
