Development of an Energy Masterplan at an Ayrshire regional level to enable a holistic approach to considering electricity, heat and transport to help the region understand how Ayrshire systems can be decarbonised and help identify cluster opportunities that can be developed collectively at regional level or local authority level. This project is linked to the existing regional economic partnership through the Ayrshire Growth Deal and includes East Ayrshire Council, North Ayrshire Council, South Ayrshire Council, the University of the West of Scotland and Scottish Enterprise with East Ayrshire taking the lead on this particular workstream.
