Procurement Information
Specialist contractor currently on site carrying out sediment management works on the watercourse. If the embankment repairs were to go ahead as an extension to this contract, it would provide several efficiencies. There would be opportunities to reuse suitable excavated material from the sediment management works. Using the existing excavated material means that the bank repair works would not require a licence from SEPA and there are potential savings in material disposal costs. Works would also be able to be carried out within the time period specified by the Fisheries Board. The quotation has been analysed and is considered to be competitively priced.
