Award of ENV0506 Esplanade Seawall Vegetation Removal and Repairs
Notice Description
Removal of all vegetation on the seawall, between the extents that have been highlighted, that is more substantial than moss growth. This is to include the removal of the roots of more substantial plants were possible between the masonry of the wall itself. All vegetation that is removed, will be collected and disposed of off-site. All loose or complete loss of pointing should be replaced/filled with lime mortar.The works will include but not limited to: -* Site set up* Awaiting the correct time to begin works at low tide* Access method setup* Vegetation collection/removal and removal of any loose material/existing pointing* Preparation and application of lime mortar as per manufacturers/supplier guidance* Site tidy* Move on to next area and repeat up until the tidal working window closes* Remove all equipment associated with access method/works
