The Scottish Government is committed to Scotland becoming a leading fair work nation by 2025. The Fair Work Convention - an independent body with a remit to advise Scottish Ministers and advocate and promote fair work - wishes to develop a quantitative framework to measure progress towards this goal against a carefully chosen group of international comparator countries/regions.

The Scottish Government is committed to Scotland becoming a leading fair work nation by 2025. The Fair Work Convention - an independent body with a remit to advise Scottish Ministers and advocate and promote fair work - wishes to develop a quantitative framework to measure progress towards this goal against a carefully chosen group of international comparator countries/regions. The Fair Work Convention's existing Fair Work Measurement Framework is expected to be used as the basis of this new framework for international comparison. An additional task included in this commission is to update the existing Fair Work Measurement Framework with the most recent Scottish data and provide short commentary against each of the five fair work dimensions.
