Perth and Kinross Council (PKC) are moving from a Dry Mixed Recycling Service (paper, cardboard, cans, plastics & cartons) to a 'twin streamed' recycling service with one container for paper & cardboard and a second container for the remaining recyclates. This is a Recycling Improvement Fund project funded by Zero Waste Scotland and will help PKC bring themselves in line with the Scottish Household Waste Charter. PKC will be procuring new waste processing contracts for paper/cardboard and for the mixed plastics & cans (MPT), both contracts will be going live in November 2023. PKC are submitting this PIN to ascertain the materials that we will be able to accept within this MPT container.
