Residual Waste Processing Strategy
Notice Description
Inverclyde, West Dunbartonshire and Argyle & Bute Council ("the Councils") are considering their future strategy for the processing of residual waste arising from households and businesses in their regions. The Councils would like to engage with residual waste processors so that the Council's future strategy can be developed around the final processing destinations which are available to the Councils. The Councils are open to a range of processing technology options, and geographical location of the facility. This PIN includes an attached questionnaire. The responses to the questionnaire will provide the Councils with information on processing solutions that could be available. This information will help the Councils in identifying technical / commercial / legal matters which are of importance to those who may bid for the contract, and this information will be used to help prepare a future procurement exercise for residual waste processing services. The responses will also assist with identifying whether a collaborative contract between all three Councils will be beneficial and sustainable for the Councils as well as the suppliers.
