Award of New National Park(s) - Strategic Environmental Assessment
Notice Description
The Biodiversity Unit of the SG Directorate for Environment and Forestry have a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider to undertake an Environmental Assessment / Environmental Report as part of the overall Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) process for the designation of at least one new National Park in Scotland by 2026, and proposed changes to the existing aims, powers and functions of National Parks in Scotland.The project is being commissioned to meet the Scottish Government's statutory requirements under the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005.
