Notice Description
The City of Edinburgh Council wishes to appoint an independent chair to ensure that the Child Protection Committee which comprises of representatives from the NHS, Police Scotland, the Council and third sector members discharges its functions in accordance with national guidance. The Chair shall report to the Chief Officers' Group on a regular basis as to the effectiveness of multi-agency child protection activity, policy and guidance and ensure that cross cutting issues are addressed in conjunction with other public protection Chairs.

The Chair must be experienced in the provision of services and able to present a fully independent view to the Committee. This requirement is suitable for sole traders
