The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) is seeking to gauge the number of potential service providers on the market with the ability to provide the hire of exhibition walling and lighting for the annual hosting of the World Press Photo journalism traveling exhibition and other temporary exhibitions and displays. The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) is currently carrying out market research and is seeking to gauge the number of potential service providers on the market with the ability to provide exhibition walling and lighting for the annual hosting of the World Press Photo journalism, traveling exhibition and other temporary exhibitions and displays. Below is an overview of some of the SPCB's anticipated Gallery Walling requirements: 1. Walling would be approximately a minimum of 2m and a maximum of 2.1m high by 5mm thick, and it should be capable of supporting a single artwork of up to 30kg in one section. We would require 70 m of this type of walling. 2. Lighting system that would match the following: Some of the exhibits require aid preventative lighting and it may need to be a dimmable system, and need to have suitable colour rendering index (CRI)/colour temperature Ra85+ CRI 3000K to suitably light photography or art. The lighting needs to be of a standard to aid preventative conservation when we are displaying a range of light sensitive work. 3.Provision of transporting, storage, installation and de-rigging service. 4. Provision of an emergency de-installation service
