The Council wish to award a single provider concession contract for a tenant's contents insurance scheme starting on 1 October 2023. The aim is to offer tenants a quality insurance product specifically designed to meet their needs, which is competitively priced against what is available in the market, both in terms of premium levels and the level of cover, and excesses. It is important that the scheme reflects the intended market and overall requirement to assist the council in reducing financial exclusion. Tenders are welcome from both direct insurers and from brokers/intermediaries.
