This Invitation to Tender relates to the hydrogen infrastructure requirements for large scale distribution and refuelling in North East Scotland. It is for a feasibility study that will cover: - Standardised Hydrogen Refuelling Footprint - conceptual design of an ideal hydrogen refuelling footprint, identifying equipment and high level costs that can be replicated across the North East of Scotland, providing a seamless and similar service for any user of a hydrogen refuelling station. - Tri-modal Refuelling Infrastructure - identification of refuelling facilities required to support tri-modal refuelling within the Aberdeen Energy Transition Zone to refuel HGVs, rail and maritime. - Case studies for Preliminary Design of a refuelling facility using a location within the vicinity of Port of Peterhead and commentary on the practical application of the Standardised Hydrogen Refuelling Footprint in the Aberdeenshire preferred locations of Inverurie, Stonehaven, Banchory and Macduff.
Renewal: If any follow up/ additional ad hoc technical design support on hydrogen refuelling / distribution is required for preparation of Committee reports, presentations, detailed design, etc then bidders have been asked to supply hourly/ day rate prices for Director/ Principle / Senior/ Technical/ Consultant, etc.
