Softwood chips for play areas surfacing
Notice Description
East Lothian Council is responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of 119 play areas across East Lothian, which vary in size and surfacing material. Of the play areas with woodchip surfacing, the woodchip requires to be topped up on a rolling programme approximately annually, or as required, to ensure these play areas continue to meet safety standards. New play areas which are installed may also require woodchip surfacing.

The supplier will be required to supply and deliver quantities of woodchip for play areas.. Community benefits requirements included as part of the contract.
Renewal: 2 years contract term with option for 1 (12 months) + 1 (12 months) extensions.
