NHS Lothian is seeking proposals to deliver a programme of work which helps to achieve the outcome of 'healthy, safe and vibrant places and communities in West Lothian'.

Lot 1

NHS Lothian is seeking proposals to deliver a programme of work which helps to achieve the outcome of 'healthy, safe and vibrant places and communities in West Lothian'. NHS Lothian intends to select 2 proposals and enter into contract with 2 separate bidding organisations. A requirement of the funding will be the submission of a collaborative proposal from a group of local organisations looking to work together. A lead organisation will submit the proposal detailing the involvement of partner organisations. Proposals should use preventative and early intervention approaches and be underpinned by actions at a population level to meet at least one of the following aims. Develop spaces , practices and initiatives that support health and wellbeing, tackle inequalities, and improve the environment. Develop spaces, practices and initiatives that contribute to a sustainable, inclusive economy and community wealth building, and tackle inequalities.. This project is part of NHS Lothian's Health Improvement Fund. The Health Improvement Fund exists to fund and support health improvement activities across Lothian. The Fund can be used for a wide range of activities seeking to promote health and prevent ill-health, but should not be used for clinical services (regardless of where those clinical services are delivered).

Renewal: 2 extensions of 1 year. Execution of the 1 year extension will be at the sole discretion of NHS Lothian.
