This Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been issued to initiate the engagement of the market, aiming to assess both interest and capacity, in order to provide a Comprehensive Emergency and Security Management solution to the University of Aberdeen. Although the University of Aberdeen currently maintains a well-established Emergency and Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehensively evaluate the array of available software options present in the market for comparative purposes. The envisioned solution is expected to encompass the subsequent functional requirements: - Solution should offer a mobile application compatible with both Android and iOS platforms, designed for seamless installation by students and staff. - Integration of the solution into the operational framework of the University Security Department's back-office processes. - Mandatory incorporation of critical features, including Emergency, First Aid, and Wellbeing assistance, as well as functionalities such as check-in and tip reporting. - Incorporation of geo-location capabilities to enhance effectiveness. - Provision for users to share essential information such as medical conditions, ensuring full compliance with GDPR regulations. - Facilitation of mass notifications for improved communication. - Deployment within a cloud-based infrastructure. - Adherence to Open API Standards, promoting interoperability and integration. - Functionality to extend regional support, enabling users to travel to other universities across Scotland while integrating with their respective Emergency and Security Management solutions and have a reciprocal arrangement.
