The Scottish Government had a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of Recommendations To Design Effective Monitoring Approaches For Commercial Fisheries In Relation To Offshore Wind Farms

Lot 1
The Offshore Wind Directorate invited a tender from a suitable contractor to provide recommendations to design effective monitoring approaches for commercial fisheries in relation to offshore wind farms. It is expected that the monitoring guidance developed could be applicable in multiple cases (not just around offshore wind farms) and put into practice by a variety of end-users, e.g. to inform monitoring approaches should they be required by licence conditions, to support socio-economic assessments, to inform marine spatial planning exercises, and/or for research purposes etc
Options: This is a 10 month contract. There will be the opportunity to extend this contract for a further 2 months at Scottish Ministers discretion.
Renewal: Following the end of the initial contract period of 10 months the contract maybe extended by a further 2 months.
