Please note this is NOT connected to Legionella testing or similar - it is about identifying the risks of water leaks from plumbing etc.

The Trust requires to appoint a building services consultant to undertake a programme of Escape of Water Risk Assessments (EoWRA) on 10 historic properties. This programme requires to be delivered within a 4-month period from appointment. The appointment objectives can be defined as: 1. To satisfy the requirements of our insurers. 2. To consult The Trust, our insurers and any other stakeholder on the risk assessment process and outcomes. 3. Establish a National Trust for Scotland Escape of Water Risk Assessment approach and format. 4. Undertake programme of risk assessment on identified buildings. 5. Produce documented risk assessment and commentary on mitigation measures.

Renewal: This is the first of these assessments we have been required to do. It is unclear whether there will be more.
