This notes relates to the award of a contract under the negotiated procedure without prior publication under the provisions of the procurement (Scotland) Regulations 4 (b). The Contract is part of the GEF-financed Africa Minigrids Program (AMP), aiming to demonstrate innovative business models that can encourage private sector participation in mini-grid development in the country through piloting Productive Uses of Energy (PUE) on existing minigrids in Malawi. The awarded supplier is named under the funded programme as a primary local implementation partner. In this role, the supplier will oversee the implementation of PUE on the EASE solar mini-grids, specifically facilitating community engagement with partner organisations, procuring and installing productive uses of energy, operation and maintenance, monitoring and evaluation, and contributing to dissemination activities.

Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of supplies or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations. The Contracting Authority may at it's sole discretion exercise this option.
