Notice Title

Fume Cabinets

Notice Description

The QMRI East wing refurbishment works is an extensive redevelopment of the existing site, replacing standard molecular biology spaces to suite animal behavioural studies. This requires the entire strip out of these areas. There were existing fume cabinets in these areas, however they are more that 20 years old and were incompatible with variable air volume (VAV) control. VAV controlled fume cabinets feature energy-saving technology to reduce the volume of air taken from the fume cupboard and have been designed into the redevelopment to increase the energy efficiency of the lab.

Lot Information
