NAC requires a Jet impact patching unit, inclusive of operator(s), all materials and subsistence for operator(s) for the purpose of carrying out carriageway repairs on the island. These services will be for a 3 week period between May and August annually. Works must be completed on each year of the contract by no later than 31st August however NAC's preference is for repairs to be carried out during May and June before the summer holiday traffic begins. Costs to include hire of plant, operator(s), provision of materials and accommodation on the Island for the duration of the works. Traffic management will be provided by the Council and work instructions will be issued on a daily basis by Arran local office Roads Maintenance Team. This contract will utilise NAC Terms and Conditions 2 (NAC TC2) Conditions of Contract for the Purchase of Services.
