This is in order to meet the Council's objectives to enhance waste management services in Orkney. It will involve looking at affordable options to minimise waste arisings, increasing options to reuse materials within Orkney, increase the quantity of materials recycled, examine current waste services, to identify operational efficiencies and cost savings.
