University of Dundee Image Guided Therapy Research Facility requires an Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) to provide detailed guidance of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) from pre-interventional lesion characterization, including plaque morphology, lesion length, and reference vessel diameter, to post-interventional IVUS to assess the stent result including minimal stent area and stent expansion. This equipment will enhance training in current clinical pathways and treatment protocols.
