Notice Description
The University wishes to purchase a Motion Platform to be used in a Ground Satellite Terminal in order to test RF devices, such as Flat Panel antennas, for their capability to track satellites and maintain a stable connection. The motion platform, designed to simulate the motion of a mobile platform (e.g. vehicle, vessel, drone, etc.), will be set up and used outdoors in the Edinburgh campus of the University, so the equipment should be compatible with this environment.
