Scottish Borders Housing Association (SBHA) is seeking to award a contract for the replacement of Windows within our housing stock over 5 years from April 2025 to 2030 via the Procurement for Housing (PfH) Windows and Doors Framework (2020/S 235-581459) Lot 2. It is anticipated that the contract will commence in January 2025 in terms of properties being surveyed prior to manufacture, installations will be expected to commence in April 2025. SBHA wish to offer the successful supplier an initial term of 2 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years then a final 12 months, (2+2+1) with an expiry of April 2030. Fair Work First principles apply with the successful supplier accredited as a Fair Work Employer or working towards accreditation. All employees working in our tenants homes must have been vetted under Disclosure Scotland or equivalent. Community Benefits will apply to this contract.

Options: Throughout the term of the contract SBHA may order any variation to any part of the Works that for any other reason shall in the Customer's opinion be desirable. Any such variation may include (but shall not be restricted to) additions, omissions, alterations, substitutions to the Works and changes in quality, form, character, kind, timing, method or sequence of the Works. Where any such variation has affected or may affect the costs incurred by the Supplier in providing the Works, the Supplier will notify the Customer in writing of the effect which it has had or may have had on the said costs. Provided that such costs do not exceed 50% of the original value of the Contract, and do not alter the overall nature of the Contract. Such notification shall be considered by the Customer, who shall take all the facts into account and may authorise such alteration to the sums to be paid to the Supplier in accordance with the provisions of the Contract as are, in the Customer's opinion, appropriate and reasonable in the circumstances.

Renewal: Initial term 2 years plus a further 2 years, then a further 12 months.
