Notice Information
Notice Title
Restorative Justice
Notice Description
The service will be delivered to residents of South Lanarkshire for the purposes of enabling the opportunity for those who have been harmed (by crime or conflict) to engage and communicate with those who have caused harm. This provides an opportunity with appropriate supports to share the impact of the experience, whilst also considering how reparation from the harm can be made and for a positive way forward to be agreed. This will involve the provision of supported restorative approaches where those harmed as well as those responsible for causing harm will be supported through a restorative justice process
Lot Information
Lot 1
The aim of this project would be to provide an opportunity to enable those who have been harmed (by crime or conflict) to communicate with those who may have caused them harm (with appropriate supports) in the hope that this enables increased understanding about the impact of the harm caused and to consider how reparation from the harm can be made and for a shared positive way forward to be agreed.. The Council are seeking to work in partnership with a third sector organisation to create and establish Restorative Justice approaches across South Lanarkshire's Children and Justice Services. South Lanarkshire Children and Justice Services will provide referrals and support this work through a joint working approach. There is no further information available at this stage.

"description": "This exercise is intended to provide potential bidders with the opportunity to view and comment on the Council's requirements if they wish to do so. This builds on a commitment to engage with the market, by sharing information and seeking input from the market to enable us to develop the final Invitation to Tender (ITT) in a fair and transparent manner. This exercise is to ensure that the final ITT provides all tenderers with a clear understanding of the Council's requirements and help reduce the number of questions that may be raised in the Tender Period.
