The purpose of this tender was to appoint a qualified and recognised RPA body/person(s) to the role of Radiation Protection Advisor (RPA) and Radioactive Waste Advisor (RWA), for the purpose of ensuring the University gains compliance against the requirements of the Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017. The appointed person(s) must hold the appropriate certificate of competence in the role of RPA and RWA as issued by RPA2000. The additional purpose of this tender is to appoint such a qualified and experienced person to provide advice on the safe use of Artificial Optical Radiation as required by the Control of Artificial Optical Radiation at Work Regulations 2010 as well as the safe use of Electromagnetic fields as required by the Control of Electromagnetic Fields at Work Regulations 2016.

Renewal: The option for 2 x up to 12-month extensions at the sole discretion of the University.
