Procurement Information
This contract award is in line with Section 12 of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act and follows the Guidance on the Procurement of Care and Support Services (Best Practice) 2016 - section 8.12. The award is made on the basis of: - the requirement addresses gaps in service provision which cannot be met internally; - there are no pre-existing contracts or Framework agreements which can meet the requirement; - the current provider is well established with a close working relationship with children and young people, for whom continuity of care is essential and a change of provider would result in a significant disruption
