The City of Edinburgh Council required short-term Temporary Accommodation Services, to ensure a supply of suitable temporary accommodation for adults at risk of homelessness. Contract is for an option to place families in available properties, up-to a maximum value.
Procurement Information
Direct Award using the Light Touch Regime provisions of the Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2015. The Council entered into negotiations with the provider under the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014, which states that Public Sector Organisations may award without seeking offers, considering the principles of procurement where relevant. In this instance, there was a lack of suitable supply market the Council could access within the time required. This award is a temporary measure only. The Council has re-opened and extend provision under its Temporary Accommodation Flexible Procurement System Framework (CT0627) for future requirements.
