Exploring How Communities Experience the Social and Economic Impacts of Offshore Wind Development in Scotland
Notice Description
AWARD NOTICE - Offshore wind deployment is central to tackling the climate crisis and decarbonising our economy. It will offer many economic and employment opportunities to communities throughout Scotland. Scottish Ministers are committed to an energy transition that is fair and just : the process should be beneficial to communities, and the opportunities it brings should be fairly distributed. This project will provide a better understanding of potential inequalities and disproportional impacts that people might face due to offshore wind development and the overall energy transition and will explore potential measures to address any disadvantages identified within these groups.
