Lot Information

Lot 1

The Small Vessel Replacement Programme (SVRP) is part of the broader Vessel Replacement and Deployment Programme (VRDP) initiated by Transport Scotland. The SVRP is expected to deliver a substantial reduction in carbon emissions compared to the older vessels being replaced, indicating a commitment by CMAL to environmental sustainability. CMAL own seven ports included in the SVRP Phase 1 Vessel Deployment of which four are overnight berths: - Colintraive - Fishnish - Lochaline - Largs - Portavadie - Tobermory - Kilchoan Port Infrastructure enabling and electrical works are required at the above listed ports to accommodate and facilitate charging the new fully electric vessels and to improve compatibility against the existing ferry terminal facilities.
