Summary of the contracting process

Moray Council, a regional or local authority based in Elgin, Scotland, is in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Family Support Services". The initiative aims to provide essential services in the "Health" sector, as identified by its COFOG classification. Moray is the proposed location for the delivery of these services. The council has issued a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to gauge interest from potential providers, with the submission deadline set for Friday, 6 June 2025. The planning document highlights a future notice date of 29 August 2025, indicating this as part of a structured tender process under the services category.

This tender creates substantial growth opportunities for businesses specialising in family support services, particularly those with expertise in delivering intensive support, parental guidance, neurodiversity inclusion, mental health, and practical familial support. The opportunity is well-suited for service providers with a track record of operating efficiently within Scotland. As there is an anticipated scope for multiple successful bids, businesses capable of offering trauma-informed and flexible service delivery models are especially encouraged to express their interest. This could pave the way for establishing or expanding service contracts within the region, thus fostering business growth and fulfilling a critical community need.
