Notice Description
This contract is for the provision of Private Rented Accommodation. The contract provides self-contained accommodation within Edinburgh for single households / individuals, couples and households with children experiencing homelessness. Private Rented Accommodation is for households who have been assessed as homeless and who: - Will be able to independently manage in their own accommodation or/and - Will be receiving or about to receive a visiting support service to encourage and improve Housing Support skills. It is expected that turnover of rooms will be low. It can take up to two years or more for people assessed as homeless to be offered alternative accommodation. Average length of stay for Private Rented Accommodation is approximately 18 months though some are significantly longer or shorter than this.
