Notice Description
Contract award notice for Hybrid Webcasting Webcasting is the live or recorded transmission of video over the web. Webcasting enables members of the public to access content where and when they want. Council meetings can be viewed live but most Councils have found that around 80% of webcast visitors view the archive at their convenience rather than the live feed. The Council require a Service Provider to provide a hybrid webcasting service, hardware and support and maintenance.

Council meetings can be viewed live but most Councils have found that around 80% of webcast visitors view the archive at their convenience rather than the live feed. Appointed Service Provider will provide hybrid webcasting service, software licences, support and maintenance and training for staff.
Options: Additional hours over the period of the contract
Procurement Information
To allow the service time to review the market with a view of either conducting a tender process for a new hybrid webcasting service or implementing a new solution, a negotiated contract is required with the incumbent supplier Public-i Group Limited. This would allow the service to conduct an option appraisal as to what option is best value for the Council and this timescale will also align to the local elections which are due to take place in May 2027.
