Notice Description
The Community Link Worker Service offers non-clinical support to a variety of patient cohorts, following referrals made by GP Practice Teams. Edinburgh's Community Link Worker Service is currently delivered by a network of eight third sector organisations.

Lot 1
In order to await the outcome of the Scottish Government review of Community Link Worker Services nationally and various other strategic drivers; Subject to the Council's internal governance approvals process, the Edinburgh Health & Social Care Partnership (EHSCP) intend to direct award contracts for a period of one year from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 to the incumbent Third Sector Organisations (with an option to extend for a further 6 months). This approach will allow the outcomes of the above to influence direction; and thereafter, for any procurement process to be completed.
Options: The EHSCP reserve the right to extend the contract for a period of up to 6 months. The estimated value in this notice includes estimated spend over the optional 6 month extension.
