Summary of the contracting process

The Common Services Agency, also known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), is inviting suppliers to participate in a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) process for Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA), aimed at supporting NHS Scotland's sustainability goals through renewable energy solutions. The procurement process is open and falls under the health industry category, relevant to sites across the NHS Scotland estate within the UKM region. Key dates include the tender period ending on 31st July 2030, with awards starting on the same day. Suppliers must submit their applications electronically, adhering to the DPS criteria outlined in the provided documents.

This tender opens avenues for suppliers specialising in renewable energy solutions, particularly those geared towards corporate energy agreements, to engage with NHS Scotland's decarbonisation plans. Businesses adept at delivering sustainable goods and services would find this a fitting opportunity, given the significant cumulative estimated value of £140 million GBP. The DPS is designed to facilitate mini competitions among qualified providers, making it suitable for well-established enterprises capable of meeting technical and economic criteria, including substantial insurance coverage requirements. Participating companies can anticipate potential contract extensions based on performance, fostering long-term business growth and collaboration.
