Notice Description
This project is being commissioned by the Scottish Government for the Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Economy, on behalf of Agriculture Policy Division. The ARE mission is that we work together to enable vibrant and thriving communities and businesses, that protect and enhance Scotland's nature. This includes: - a just transition to net zero and to enhance biodiversity, - thriving and sustainable island and rural communities, agriculture and food and drink sector - and driving forward land reform. The Agriculture Policy Division aim to transform how we support farming and food production in Scotland to become a Global leader in sustainable and regenerative agriculture with farming, crofting and land management continuing to play an important role in maintaining thriving rural and island communities and capitalising on the benefits and that there is a Just Transition.
Lot Information
Lot 1
Ongoing maintenance and development of the Small Producer Info Hub will involve addressing content gaps, updating material in response to regulatory changes, improving the website's design and usability, actively promoting the platform, gathering user feedback, and potentially expanding its content and features based on that feedback. There are currently around 20,000 smallholdings in Scotland, and approximately 33000 crofters this website allows them to gain valuable information and any advice they require.
