Notice Title

Provision of a Digital Care and Support System - Care Scheduling/Planning and Rota Management

Notice Description

Hanover Housing Association has been providing housing and support services across Scotland for over forty years. Managing approximately 150 homes with an aspect of care, predominantly for older people, Hanover is committed to enabling tenants to live independently within their communities. Hanover provides housing with care and very sheltered housing services which can range from light touch interventions such as reminding tenants to take medication to helping tenants with daily tasks such as personal care.

Lot Information

Lot 1

Hanover has initiated a Care and Support Systems Review at senior management level to address challenges caused by varied case management practices, inefficient data handling, and outdated digital tools. Two critical areas of improvement have been identified: - Care Scheduling/Planning - modernising currently paper-based processes, ensuring person-centred care and real-time updates. Although a full eMAR system is not required, medication management is a large area requiring support. - Rota Management - replacing fragmented manual scheduling with a centralised, digital platform. Through this forthcoming procurement, Hanover aims to secure a solution that will: - Improve service quality and tenant engagement through modern, digital care planning. - Increase operational efficiency and staff satisfaction via streamlined rota management. - Enhance safety, compliance, and oversight of medication management. - Provide integrated reporting, dashboards, and mobile accessibility. - Support compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks. The service will operate within a framework of continuous improvement with which the service provider will be required to engage; bringing innovation, sharing ideas, and implementing improvement measures to increase operational effectiveness/efficiency and drive out waste.
