Notice Description
This research aims to evidence the importance of quality for each core material collected at the kerbside in Scotland. The research will be used to inform future work with local authorities to improve material quality.Through engagement with the material supply chain, the research will identify the current level of quality for each material and explore the key challenges and opportunities associated with meeting the highest quality outcomes.This research does not require engagement with local authorities. Instead, it focuses on the supply chain to understand the quality of the material that is received and the quality requirements.The findings from the research will include:* A benchmark of the current level of quality for each material* A gap analysis of current quality levels and the quality required to achieve the highest quality outcomes* Explanation of the key challenges and opportunities to improving quality* Evidence of the value of high quality materials to local authoritiesFurther information is provided in the Additional Documents that accompany this Quick Quote Notice.
