Notice Title

DECC-Energy Performance Certificate Reform - Interactive User Interface

Notice Description

Following the Government response to EPC consultations, the Scottish Government are now commissioning research to identify the requirements for an online interactive tool that consumers can use to help them better understand their energy use, how retrofit options might reduce this, and identify funding support, for their home. This will build upon the results of initial scoping research.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The purpose of this discovery project is to determine specification requirements for a Home Energy Model (HEM) wrapper and design requirements for an online interactive tool which will allow consumers to make a detailed interaction with EPC information. These requirements should be informed through user interviews and research. This would allow for customised user behaviour and occupancy inputs which could update outputs via integration with HEM. This tool should allow users to model the impacts that their own occupancy behaviour and certain energy efficiency improvement could have on their home.

Renewal: Scottish Government reserve the right to extend the contract for a period of up to 2 months. This extension will be for solely for a time extension with no additional costs against this.
