Notice Description
The objectives of this research are to: 1. Explain, through the use of case studies, with a particular focus on transparency, tax, and valuation, how cadastral systems in comparable jurisdictions: a. operate in practice, associated costs, funding mechanisms, and benefits of the approach; b. the data used/required, noting data sources and quality; c. who typical users are, the volume of use, and for what purposes; d. explain any other relevant issues, considerations, or constraints that may exist. 2. Suggest issues and/or areas for future consideration and/or research that would be necessary should Scotland wish to purse the development of a cadastral system.
