Notice Description

The appointment of a Cost Consultant. The Scope of Services is as defined in NHSGG&C Schedule of Duties - Cost Consultant V1.2 for Work Stages C&D. The works are to be delivered in line with NHS Shared Business Services, Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services, SBS10190, Lot 7, Value Band 6, Region: Scotland framework agreement.The key priority of the project is to deliver a replacement ventilation system serving GRI ICU East, ICU West and the capacity to serve a former audiology clinic as well as support increased bed capacity. While the focus of the project is the replacement of the ventilation system to meet the demands of the ICU in its current form the system should be designed so that it provides capacity for the potential future expansion of the unit. A key aim will be linked to the safe delivery of compliant systems that are in line with all relevant healthcare guidelines in a manner that does not negatively impact of the hospitals use. As part of the project there may be a further requirement to upgrade another area within the GRI campus to support the partial or full decant of the current GRI ICU.
