Notice Information
Notice Title
MH-Veterans Mental Health & Wellbeing Pathway
Notice Description
We are seeking to appoint a supplier to deliver coordinated support to the 'spoke' locations outlined in the Specification. The successful supplier will be responsible for overseeing a connected network of services, ensuring clear and efficient referral pathways, and linking veterans to appropriate non-complex clinical and peer-support interventions. The service will also be expected to integrate effectively with relevant statutory services where the veteran's presenting needs require onward connection.
Lot Information
Lot 1
The supplier will deliver coordinated support to the 'Spokes' for both regional and local assistance, including peer support and access to evidence-based interventions for those with less complex needs. Developing local networks and partnerships between statutory services and third sector organisations, this model represents a 'no wrong door' approach, meaning veterans can enter the pathway through multiple routes and still receive consistent, high-quality care as close to home as possible. The 'spokes' will also promote wellbeing to enable veterans to 'wait well' for treatment. Where complex care is required, the provider will ensure a 'warm' handover to statutory services.
Renewal: The contract may be extend for an additional 12 months.

MH - Veterans Mental Health & Wellbeing Pathway - As part of the development of a Veterans Mental Health & Wellbeing Pathway, the Scottish Government is seeking views and information from industry and the market place in connection with the areas set out in this Request for Information (RFI). Regional spokes are required to facilitate and coordinate more local support for the veteran to meet presenting needs and preferences. Part of this support may include, access to specific peer support, from those who understand military service life and associated challenges. The regional spokes may also provide an equitable network of evidence-based digital therapeutic interventions that are clinically supported and offered where appropriate. -
