Notice Description
SPT as a contracting authority is purchasing transport related service contracts including but not limited to schools, vocational and additional support needs (ASN) requirements on behalf of the following contracting authorities and their arm's length organisations: Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, Argyll & Bute and Inverclyde. SPT is the agent for the above-mentioned Councils. Any contracts awarded will be between the Council and the awarded Operator.

By submitting a completed SPD, Operators are confirming that they are able to provide the Transport Services referred to in this notice. SPT reserve the right to change the Technical and Commercial weightings and questions at any point during the term of the DPS. The buyer is using PCS-Tender to conduct this PQQ exercise. The Project code is 6862. For more information see: http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/info/InfoCentre.aspx?ID=2343 The Contracting Authority does not intend to include a sub-contract clause as part of community benefits (as per Section 25 of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014) in this contract for the following reason: No individual contract awarded from this DPS will be in excess of GBP 4m in value. Community benefits are included in this requirement. For more information see: https://www.gov.scot/policies/public-sector-procurement/community-benefits-in-procurement/ A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows: Community Benefits (CBs) may be required to be delivered by an Operator as a result of any award made.
