The Eljamel Inquiry is a Scottish public inquiry set up under the Inquiries Act 2005. Provision will primarily be based around the Inquiry's public hearings which will be attended by both Inquiry participants and members of the public. This will include support for witnesses to the Inquiry as they prepare their evidence and in the case of individuals giving oral evidence in the aftermath of giving their evidence. As such requirements for the support service will vary over the length of the contract.. The contract period will be from February 2026 to end of December 2028 with the option to extend for one year. - The maximum available budget for this service is up to 115,500 GBP over the duration of the Contract period including any extension option.
