Lot 1

This procurement is for the delivery of a High Performance Computing (HPC) Storage Solution as part of the ARCHIE-WeSt Strategic Refresh 2025, replacing existing end-of-life and out-of-warranty hardware. The proposed solution is fully compatible with the existing Lenovo DSS-G100 environment, support per-disk licensing for IBM Spectrum Scale, and designed in line with industry best practices for performance, scalability, resilience, and energy efficiency. The procurement was conducted via a mini-competition on Lot 5 of the Servers, Storage and Solutions National Agreement (SSSNA).

Options: In line with 72 - Modification of Contracts During their Term, of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, this Contract may be modified without a new procurement procedure in accordance with this Part in some cases. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request for additional deliveries by the successful tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of supplies or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations. The Contracting Authority may at it's sole discretion exercise it's option.
