                    "description": "Aberdeen City Council wishes to engage a suitably qualified company to undertake non-destructive inspections of street lighting columns, in accordance with the Institution of Lighting Engineers Technical Report TR22, and have the findings reported back. The columns to undertake this testing will be a variety of 5m, 6m, 8m and 10m columns. The testing procedure shall include a visual inspection of the complete column and a detailed inspection and test (loss of section test) of all of the critical sections including the root, base section, hot swaged joints, welds and door apertures. Also included will be a visual inspection of the bracket, shaft, and intermediate joints etc. The contractor must be UKAS accredited for the structural testing of steel lighting columns."
