River Clyde Homes is seeking to appoint a highly competent and experienced contractor to undertake ad-hoc roofing and rendering works to properties within Inverclyde. The basis of payment for the works will be a % adjustment against the NHF Schedule of Rates Version 8 (attached as Appendix F). The successful bidder will be required to survey each respective property and provide a scope of works document for each repair, with a quote based on the NHF Schedule of Rates. Once RCH agrees the scope of works document, and pricing, the works will be instructed. Any on-site variations that arise following the initial scoping exercise will require to be evidenced and agreed with RCH prior to any works being undertaken. Before and after photos of each repair will require to be provided. This is a reactive repair contract, so no guarantee can be provided in relation to the value that may be produced via the contract, however, historically circa 450k GBP per annum has been spent on these types of works. Interested parties must first evidence to River Clyde Homes via the SPD that they have the requisite technical capacity, and experience to undertake works of this nature before they will be taken forward to the full tender evaluation.

Renewal: The contract will run for an initial 2-year duration. RCH may elect to extend any subsequent agreement for an additional two, twelve-month periods subject to the agreement of the successful bidder.
