Atholl Estates and Zora Ecosystems are partnering with the Cairngorms National Park Authority's Peatland ACTION team and experienced contractors to restore approximately 234 hectares of artificially drained and actively eroding peatland across the central beats - Clunes and West-hand, Feith Bhainn and Carn Dearg. The project lies adjacent to areas restored in 2025 and therefore forms part of an ongoing effort to rehabilitate the estate's degraded peatlands. The work is scheduled to begin in Summer 2026. Further details are available in the Statement of Requirements.
