Notice Description
Glasgow Clyde College are looking to appoint a Primary Supplier or Primary contractor to manage the supply, delivery, positioning, testing and inspection of high voltage and low voltage distribution equipment for the development of an HV Training and Test Centre. This facility will support advanced electrical engineering education for both land-based and offshore wind energy systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and future workforce needs. The project aims to replicate real-world HV environments, enabling students to safely simulate operational scenarios, fault diagnostics, and system integration processes aligned with awarding body specifications

Glasgow Clyde College invites tenders for the supply, delivery, positioning, inspection and associated documentation of high-voltage and low-voltage distribution equipment for use within the College's designated training facilities. The equipment shall be suitable for high-voltage training, safe switching instruction, protection awareness, distribution-system simulation, transformer-feeder demonstrations and electrical engineering education. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
Options: There may be a need for further equipment.
