The Council have a requirement for Construction Information Service (CIS) licences to allow access to current regulation, construction standards, technical advice and industry news on building, engineering, design, and construction processes in the United Kingdom. The contract runs from 17th April 2025 to 16th April 2026 with an optional 1-year extension.

Negotiated SO9 for provision of Building Standards Regulations (CIS) Licences. The Council have a requirement for Construction Information Service (CIS) licences to allow access to current regulation, construction standards, technical advice and industry news on building, engineering, design, and construction processes in the United Kingdom. Council employees with Civil and Structural, Mechanical and Electrical, Architectural and Building Standards roles have access to CIS to provide a collection of current full text documents essential for compliance with the UK legal and regulatory framework and supporting guidance from key publishers. Allium UK Holding Ltd are the incumbent supplier and are already in the process of carrying out services for the Council. Therefore, this contract is required to formalise existing arrangements. Contract runs from 17th April 2025 to 16th April 2026 with optional 12-month extension period.
